A tenured Marketing and Sales executive, Dan has 25 years of experience across multiples segments of the healthcare market.  He has held leadership positions in marketing, sales and business development with public and private organizations ranging from Fortune 20 companies to development stage enterprises.  He has provided expert opinion, industry guidance and service to companies, governments and investment management firms; domestic and international.


Throughout his career, Dan has delivered results for large organizations such as McKesson, Owens & Minor and Johnson & Johnson.  He has led the development execution of Marketing, Sales and Communication strategies for numerous smaller companies.  Dan has established marketing teams, built sales teams (inside, outside and contracted), developed new brands, protected existing brands, launched new products and launched new enterprises.


Dan has provided service in leadership roles on several industry boards.  He is a past Chairman of the Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) Hospital Advisory Council.   He served as an appointed member of the Medical Materiel Coordinating Group, sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services.  Dan also devotes time to volunteer with local and national non-profit organizations.

An accomplished educator and speaker, Dan has been invited to address domestic and international audiences.  He has designed and led training programs on behalf of companies, industry groups and governments.  Over the past 20 years, Dan has trained more than 1,800 sales representatives, sales leaders and marketing leaders across multiple industries.  He served as an Adjunct Faculty member of the Marketing, Industrial Distribution and Economics Department at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB).  Through his volunteer work, Dan has also trained and coached hundreds of teenagers on leadership skills, group dynamics and team building.


Dan received his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and his BA from Allegheny College.  He also received a certification in Project Management from Villanova University.
